Development Manager’s Update – March 2022

Welcome to the March 2022 Sussex Inlet Golf Village update!

Sales and Information Centre and Display Village

The recent wet weather has slowed or halted works onsite, however, that hasn't dampened our efforts to get the display village carpark approved. The only hinderance to an approval is for soil testing which will be prepared shortly. Still within the Display Village, there is also a concept plan to deliver a temporary park and car park on lots 1006 and 1007 respectively. The park is proposed to serve the community until the future park is delivered as per the masterplan at which point it will revert to a housing lot.

SIGV Release 5

The reports and documentation have been prepared for our subdivision works certificate (SWC) which has been lodged this month. The SWC will be accompanied with a modification to the DA consent to change the wording of certain conditions. This will assist with the assessment of the SWC and construction in the near future. Our next step will be to manage any queries from the certifier as they assess the package and, in the meantime, to prepare a tender package and appoint a Civil Contractor for the subdivision works in anticipation of an approval.

SIGV Masterplan

More design and reporting work is occurring on the overall SIGV masterplan. Deliverables in progress include a strategic bushfire assessment report, heritage assessment, water cycle management plan and biodiversity certification assessment. We have the best team working on these items with input from local and state government. Our intention is to lodge the planning proposal in a May/June to enable delivery of the final SIGV Masterplan.

Hopefully we have better weather between now and the next update. See you then.
