Development Update - Q1 2020

Welcome to the latest development update for Sussex Inlet Golf Village, the first of 2020!

During the break Sussex Inlet Road was closed as the local area was impacted by the bushfires. Fortunately the RFS were able to stall the progression of the fires by clearing a 6m wide, kilometre long asset protection zone in the addition to temporary flood free access road which also helped to halt the fires directly impacting the course and site. We are very grateful to our local fire authorities and volunteers, and commend their outstanding efforts in and around Sussex Inlet. See below how you can help Sussex Inlet recover.

Following the Christmas and the New Year break, works have now recommenced at SIGV. Although we've had a bit of down time the site has substantially changed in shape since the turn of the year. Cut to fill earthworks have been undertaken to bring the ground levels closer to design while almost 200 metres of the sewer rising main has been installed. There has also been further progress with large watermain relocations along Sussex Inlet Road. The relocation of the Golf Club carpark is well underway with kerb and gutters in ahead of asphalt, with the new practice nets also being installed.

That’s all for now but be sure the keep an eye out of the next edition as construction ramps up at SIGV.
