Development Manager’s Update - May 2021

Welcome to the May 2021 Sussex Inlet Golf Village update!

Over in Jacob's Range final touches are being made to the SIGV entry feature while the new sewer pump station has just recently been commissioned. The subdivision certificate application for these first releases was lodged with Council on the 30th of April. Plans of subdivision were also lodged with the NSW Land Registry Services on 16th April for pre-examination. The pre-examination process allows for early assessment of the subdivision plan and allows registration to occur quickly after Council approves the subdivision certificate. We anticipate registration to occur by late May or early June (subject to authority approvals). Once registration occurs settlement will follow 14 - 21 days later, which will be an exciting milestone for our first residents having access to their brand-new home site!

The Jacob's Range Stage 2 development application is progressing, which includes releases 5, 6 and 7. Our consultants have responded to the latest request for information from approval authorities. Stage 2 comprises of 80 residential lots and golf course amendments with development consent expected within the current financial year.

Preparation of a development application for the next stage of the project is underway. This next stage will include a number of residential lots in both Jacob's Range and Badgee's Reach precincts as well as proposed new golf holes . A broader planning proposal associated with the balance of the master plan has also been prepared for Council's consideration.
